पुलिस उप निरीक्षक (गोपनीय): SI (Confidential):

• भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त समकक्ष अर्हता,
• कम से कम 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी टंकण (इन्स्किप्ट की-बोर्ड पर यूनीकोड में) तथा कम से कम 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से अंग्रेजी टंकण,
• न्यूनतम 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी आशुलिपि श्रुतिलेख (उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती एवं प्रोनति बोर्ड द्वारा अवधारित शुद्धता के आधार पर अभ्यर्थियों को सफल घोषित किया जायेगा ।)
• भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रानिक एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (नाइलिट सोसाइटी ) ( पूर्व में डोयक सोसाइटी) से कम्प्यूटर में “ओ” लेवेल की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अथवा सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता धारित करना आवश्यक है।

• कम से कम 15 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी टंकण (इन्स्क्रिप्ट की बोर्ड पर यूनीकोड में).
• भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रानिक एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (नाइलिट सोसाइटी ) (पूर्व में डोयक सोसाइटी) से कम्प्यूटर में “ओ” लेवेल की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अथवा सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता धारित करना आवश्यक है।
