PTET 2026 Eligibility

B.Ed. Course (Two Year Course):

• Applicants with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/ or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
• The reservation and relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ PWD and other categories shall be as per the At present, a relaxation of 5% is applicable for the above-mentioned categories. Accordingly, candidates belonging to the above categories who have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the Science / Social Science / Humanities stream in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree awarded by a university established by law shall be eligible for admission to the programme.
• Candidates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics and have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate, or possess any other equivalent qualification as specified above, shall also be eligible for admission to this programme.

PTET 2026 Exam Pattern

• All questions in Question-Paper shall be objective-type multiple-choice questions with at least four alternative answers. (See sample question under heading ‘Model Question Paper’).
• The Paper will be set both in English and Hindi except in the Language Proficiency Section.
• In case of discrepancy in options of answers or in the question paper, the English version shall be treated as final.
• The duration of the paper shall be 3 hours.
• Each question will carry 3 marks and the maximum marks in the paper shall be 600.
• Full 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. In Attitude & Aptitude Section, however, the answers will be scaled on a scale of 3 to 0 marks. This means that answer to each question will carry a weightage of 3,2,1 and 0.
• The PTET Examination will consist of one question paper containing the following four Sections:

1. Mental Ability
2. Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test
3. General Awareness and
4. Language Proficiency (Hindi or English)

PTET 2026 Syllabus

Section A: Mental ability:

• Mental ability Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions to test the following abilities:
• Reasoning (ii) Imagination (iii) Judgement & Decision Making (iv) Creative Thinking (v) Generalization (vi) Drawing inferences etc.

Section B: Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test:

• Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test Section shall consist of 50 questions mainly in the following areas:
• Social Maturity, (ii) Leadership, (iii) Professional Commitment, (iv) interpersonal Relations. (v) Communication, (vi) Awareness etc. This will be the test of attitudes and awareness in which answers to the questions will be scored on a scale of 3, 2, 1, and 0.

Section C: General awareness:

• General awareness Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions mainly in the following areas:
• Current Affairs (National & International), (ii) (Indian History & Culture, (iii) India and its Natural Resources. (iv) Great Indian Personalities (Past and Present), (v) Environmental Awareness, (vi) Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.

Section D: Language Proficiency (English or Hindi):

• Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) Section shall consist of 50 Objective type multiple choice questions regarding proficiency in Hindi or English Language mainly related to the following aspects:-
• Vocabulary, (ii) Functional Grammar, (iii) Sentence Structures, (iv) Comprehension, etc.

Rajasthan PTET 2026 Admit Card

• Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2026 admit card will be uploaded on ptetvmoukota2026.in website you can download yours admit card by using your form number or challan number.

PTET Result 2026

• The result of all the candidates will be made available on the Website of PTET www.ptetvmoukota2026.in on the site as informed through Newspapers, the information about their selection status for admission in B.Ed. Course will also be made available with their result on Website.
• Mark sheets can be downloaded from the Website of PTET.
• No information about the result / selection for admission in B.Ed. Course will be sent by posts.
• However, as far as possible, information will be given through S.M.S. on the mobile number given by the candidate in their online admission form.
• Notification regarding declaration of result on Website will be published in newspapers for information of candidates.
• The material related to the examination will be kept preserved for six months after the examination. Thereafter, the material will be disposed of.
