- Trade Apprentices: Pass in ITI examinations (NCVT) of the respective trade from a government recognized Institute.
- Technician (Diploma Holders) Apprentices: Full Time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Institution, State Council or Board of Technical education
- Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Full Time Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in relevant discipline
- Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Full Time B.com or BBA Degree from a recognized university.
- Note: The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / Degree) in the year 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.

NLC Apprentices Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Selection will be based on percentage/total marks scored by the candidates in concerned qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / B. E / B.Tech / B.Com / B.B.A) or its equivalent of respective trade/discipline, as the case may be.
- For Trade Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of mark scored by the candidates in all the subjects in ITI examinations (NCVT) of the respective trade.
- For Diploma/Technician Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in Diploma of relevant discipline.
- For Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in BE/B.Tech of relevant discipline
- For Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices; selection will be based on percentage of marks scored in qualifying Degree. Percentage of marks scored in all the semesters by the candidates in the respective degree i.e., B. Com / B.B.A Degree
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree as awarded in the final qualifying examinations Or In case the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University /Institution from where he/she has obtained the Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
- In the absence of any established scheme in the University/Institution for calculation of percentage of marks, the following principles will apply.

- Eligibility Requirement: Candidates must have a valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number on NAPS/NATS portal. Ensure your profile on NAPS/NATS is 100% updated and accurate.
- Application Dates: Start: 10:00 Hours, 03.10.2025 & End: 17:00 Hours, 23.10.2025
- Application Procedure: Complete the online registration cum application form. Print a copy of the filled form.
- Submission of Application: By Post: Send the signed form along with self-attested copies of required certificates to: Deadline: On or before 30.10.2025, 17:00 Hours
