NEPA Vacancy 2023 Eligibility

MTS (Cook):

• Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.
• Knowledge of Preparation of dishes in Kitchen of various messes with Minimum 2 years’ Experience in any catering establishment and
• Must have qualified in trade test.

MTS (Dhobi):

• Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.
• Knowledge of washing and ironing of clothes with minimum 2 Years’ Experience and
• Must have qualified in trade test.

Life Guard:

• Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.
• Certificate in swimming and 2 Years’ Practical Experience as Life Guard or Swimming job in a Govt. or Commercial Organization.

Constable (Motor Mechanic):

• Matriculation or 10th Pass Equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.
• Diploma in Motor Mechanism and Should be possessed a valid Driving License of Light or Medium and Heavy Vehicles.
• 2 Years’ Experience in vehicles repairs in some establishment / Workshop.
• Must have qualified in trade test.

Constable (Band & GD):

• Matriculation or 10th Pass Equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.

NEPA Selection Process 2023

PET for Constable:

Written Test:

• Written Exam will be held for all posts.
• There will be No Negative Marking.
• The Written Exam will be of 100 marks containing 100 Questions consisting Objective Type Questions to be answered using a blue ball point pen.
• The composition of the question will be as follows:

Trade Test:

NEPA Syllabus 2023

General Awareness/ General Knowledge:

• Question will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society.
• Question will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person.
• The test will also include question relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Knowledge of elementary mathematics:

• This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations. Percentages. Ratio and Proportion. Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss. Discount. Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration. Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and work etc.

General Reasoning:

• It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving. analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.
• The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate‘s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship. arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

General English:

• Candidates’ understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc.

How to Apply NEPA Form 2023?

• Application Sent by Post will not be entertained.
• Venue for Direct Recruitment: North Eastern Police Academy, Umsaw, Distt- Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya, Pin-793123.
• Application as per Annexure-1, to be filled & duly signed by the candidates should be brought the recruitment rally as per the date mentioned above.
• All relevant documents should be attached.
• They should carry all original certificates along with the photo copy in support of eligibility for the post.
• The Candidates must report before 1100 hrs on the day of the recruitment i.e. 21/11/2023.
• No TA DA is admissible. Recruitment process may be prolonged for more than I day. Candidates should come prepared accordingly.
• Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Identity card issued by University / College in original for producing before the selection board to validate their identity along with 2 recent passport size photo.
