JSSC CGL 2023 Selection Process

• The candidate has to go through the following stages to get selected as per the JSSC CGL Notification 2023.
• There will be 3 papers in the written exam and will be held in 3 shifts.
• In the Written Exam Paper 1 is qualifying in nature and merit list will be based on the marks obtained in Paper 2 and Paper 3 and selected candidates will be called for the document verification. Written Exam (Paper 1, 2 & 3) Document Verification

JSSC CGL 2023 Exam Pattern

For Paper 1

• Paper 1 comprises a language paper. Hindi Language and English Language.
• Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions.
• The questions are based on Unseen Passage and Grammar.
• Paper 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
• It will be necessary for the candidates to bring 30% marks for qualifying.

For Paper 2

• Paper 2 consists of a regional or selected language paper.
• Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions for 100 marks.
• Each Question carries 3 Marks and for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
• The questions will be set in Hindi and English language.

For Paper 3

• Paper 3 contains General Knowledge.
• All Questions are objective multiple–choice type questions.
• Each Question carries 3 Marks.
• There will be a negative marking for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
• The questions will be set in Hindi and English language.

How to Apply JSSC CGL Online Form 2023?

• The application for online registration will be hosted on the JSSC website from 20 June 2023.
• Applications will be received online only.
• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The last date for submitting online application is 19 July 2023.
