• Should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the trade OR Mechanic or equivalent with two years regular service in the apprentice Technical Branch of the Army, Navy and Air Force.

General Intelligence and Reasoning:

• This section would include questions both verbal and non-verbal type. It would include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problems solving, analysis, judgment decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relation concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.
• The sections will also include questions designed to test candidate’s ability to deal with the abstract ideas, symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions

General Awareness:

• Questions are designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matter of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of any educated person.
• The Test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require special study of any discipline.

Quantitative Aptitude:

• This section would include questions on problems relating to number system, computation whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, Ratio and proportions, averages, interest, profit &loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time & distance, ratio & time, time & work etc.

English Language:
