ICSSR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• Higher Secondary or Equivalent
• Should have a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m.

Research Assistant:

• M.A. with at least 50% marks in any of the Social Sciences disciplines.

Assistant Director:

• A Master Degree with high second class in any Social Science discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
• At least three years’ experience in teaching, research in Social Science area and/or three years’ of experience of research administration in a reputed organization.
• Computer Literacy is desirable.

ICSSR Selection Process 2024

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in computer based test and written examination.
• However, the mode of selection for all the above posts will be at the sole discretion of ICSSR and may be changed with due notification.
• The final merit list for the position of Assistant Director (Research) will be based on the performance of the candidates in computer based test (Paper-1 (Part-A & Part-B)), written test (Paper-2) and interview.
• The merit list for the position of Research Assistant will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based test (Paper-1 (Part-A & Part-B)) and written test (Paper-2) only.
• For the position of Lower Division Clerk, candidates have to qualify the written test and computer based test. Those who qualify written test will be called for Typing Test.
• A written test and computer based test for the post of LDC will be conducted on the pattern of Staff Selection Commission.
• The syllabus of the test will be of the Higher Secondary Level of CBSE board.

How to Apply ICSSR Online Form 2024?

1. The application for online registration will be hosted on the ICSSR website from 04 Jan 2024.
2. Applications will be received online only.
3. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
