CG TET Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

For teaching in classes 1 to 5:

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Senior Secondary with at least 45 % marks (or its equivalent) and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing two- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation 2002 OR
• Senior Secondary with at least 50 % marks (or its equivalent) and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing two- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
• Graduation and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

For teaching in classes 6 to 8:

• Graduation and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing two- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Two-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) passed or has been admitted and is pursuing. OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Two-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) has been admitted and is pursuing or passed in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
• Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 % marks and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing four- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and passed or has been admitted and is pursuing four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education B.Ed. (Special Education) or two-year Bachelor in Education B.Ed. (Special Education) passed or has been admitted and is pursuing.

CG TET Selection Process 2025

• Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
• Each paper will be of two and a half hour duration and a total of 150 questions will be asked.
• Each question will be of one mark. There will be no negative marking on wrong answers.
• The test will comprise of two papers. Candidates qualifying the first paper will be eligible for teaching in classes one to five. In the same way, candidates qualifying the second paper will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8th.
• Note:- A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (class I to V and class VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II)
• All the questions will be asked in two languages (Hindi and English).
• First language will be Hindi and the second language will be English.
• Subjects and marks for both the papers are as follows:

How to Fill CG TET Online Form 2025-26

• The application for on-line registration will be hosted on CG VYAPAM website form 13/11/2025.
• Applications will be received on-line only.
• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The last date for submitting on-line application is 08/12/2025.
