BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

SI (Master):

• 10+2 or Its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
• 2nd Class Master Certificate issued by Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.

SI (Engine Driver):

• 10+2 or Its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
• 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate Issued by Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.

HC (Master):

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Possessing 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.

HC (Engine Driver):

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Possessing 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.

HC (Workshop):

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Industrial Training Instituted Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for the post of HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), HC (Workshop) Electrician, HC (Workshop) AC Technician, HC (Workshop) Electronics, HC (Workshop) Machinist, HC (Workshop) Carpenter and HC (Workshop) Plumber from a recognized Institution Respectively.

Constable (Crew):

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• One Year Experience in Operation of Boat below 265 HP.
• Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance.
