BPSC 69th Selection Process 2023
Prelims Written Exam:
- Candidates will first have to appear for the Preliminary Written Exam. This exam serves as a screening test and consists of multiple-choice questions. The syllabus for the prelims exam will be provided in the official notification.
Mains Written Test:
- Candidates who qualify in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains Written Test. The mains exam is more comprehensive and covers a wider range of subjects. It consists of descriptive-type questions, and the syllabus will also be specified in the official notification.
Interview:
- Candidates who successfully clear the mains written test will be shortlisted for the interview stage. This is a personal interaction round where candidates’ communication skills, personality traits, and subject knowledge are assessed by a panel of experts.
Document Verification:
- After the interview, candidates who are provisionally selected will have to undergo a document verification process. This involves verifying the authenticity of the documents submitted by the candidates, such as educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), etc.
Medical Examination:
- The final stage of the selection process is a medical examination. Candidates who are recommended for appointment will undergo a thorough medical check-up to ensure they are physically and medically fit for the position.
